Results
Results are presented for 16 practices that account for 97% of the cost-share
funds expended on agricultural
in the Tar-Pamlico basin since the
the program in 1985 (Table 2-l). Other
were not addressed

historically low level of funding and the lack of adequate cost

effectiveness studies existed

results either did not exist or the effectiveness was so tied to site-specific factors
as to make generalizations inappropriate.
